Lets first clear some misunderstandings- Yes there are many people who have watched all 1000 episodes, yes many people watch this and it is most popular in Japan,Philipines, and other SEA countries, Europe and Middle East. This is a totally worthy to watch series, just so all fillers episodes are not worth a watch. If you are planning to watch then only watch the important episodes.

As someone who didn't skip any episode, I assure you some fillers are actually very good though

I’v been watching this show in august and it’s been great but 2022 seemed empty honestly I mean the spinoff shows is the only thing interesting this year not saying the animation quality for this show is bad but like one piece it’s not worth rewatching usually

they are the Beika Street Irregulars from Sherlock. basically, they're Conan's henchmen, ground troops, they do the grunt work of investigations that Conan doesn't always have the time to do all by himself. they are also the comic relief the mangaka Aoyama writes chapters about to put fun gaps inbetween all the murder chapters he writes. this manga is over 25 years old now. so there are a LOT of Detective Boys Club chapters!
